Korean War
Because of this stalemate that arose, the country of Korea is still split apart, and is still "at war", because the treaty didn't end the war. It only agreed to a cease fire. If we the U.S had overtaken North Korea, and stood our ground in Pyongyang against the Chinese then it could have been unified. |
